This year the seventh edition of the event will be hold. 8000 professionals will offer fun and free activities and 150 countries worldwide are participating.
World Wellness Weekend is aligned with the United Nations and supported by more than 60 professional associations and federations.
What is World Wellness Weekend
Every year in September, 3 days are dedicated to wellness lovers: spas, wellness centres, gyms, beauty salons offer the public the opportunity to participate in fun, original and free activities by providing their premises and staff.
The World Wellness Weekend is a global event conceived by Jean-Guy de Gabriac in 2017 starting from France and Belgium. It was so successful that it convinced numerous countries around the world to actively participate in the event, including Italy.
What activities are offered
It is possible to participate individually, with friends or family. The activities are endless including yoga classes, fitness sessions, guided meditations and relaxation that promote ‘inner peace and world peace’, cancer seminars (supported by Immunocologie), hot springs, Sauna Auffguss ceremonies, tree planting and cleansing, dance classes…
How and why join the World Wellness Weekend
World Wellness Weekend activities take place simultaneously in more than 150 countries around the world, so it is both a global and a local event, bringing together the largest wellness community (also online with the hashtags #WorldWellnessWeekend #WellnessForAll and #WellnessByAll) by raising awareness of the importance of taking care of oneself and promoting a healthy and conscious lifestyle.

To register and appear on the World Wellness Map, simply create your account at map.world-wellness-weekend.org, enter your details and programme. The only requirement is to offer the public one or more wellness activities – free and accessible to all – inspired by the 5 pillars of the WWW, lasting 60 minutes. Each facility is given the opportunity to describe the activities proposed during the three days, as well as to highlight any special offers and packages for the whole year.
