<p>Launched in 2017, World Wellness Weekend is a worldwide celebration that allows millions of people to experience fun, free, and inclusive wellness activities across the five pillars of wellness: Rest, Nutrition, Vitality, Serenity, and Solidarity.</p>

<p>Promoting the culture of good living is the goal of W3, now in its 7th edition. The 2023 edition was a success: 148 participating countries and 6,300 facilities (+26% compared to 2022), ever-increasing media coverage aimed at a total audience of 430 million people, including enthusiasts and professionals.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-large-font-size">What is World Wellness Weekend (W3)?</h2>

<p>The <strong>World Wellness Weekend (W3)</strong> is a global event dedicated to total wellness, involving more and more realities. The concept is simple: every third weekend in September, just before the equinox, thousands of facilities open their doors to present exclusive programmes and experiences with fun, free and inclusive activities to try out with friends, colleagues, or family. Its creator, <strong>Jean-Guy de Gabriac</strong>, launched the initiative in 2017, starting in France and Belgium, and since then it has been a crescendo of acclaim. It is undoubtedly an <strong>innovative event</strong> <strong>that puts the individual at the centre of their own well-being</strong>, promoting a culture of well-being understood as the result of lifestyle choices.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-large-font-size">The goals of the World Wellness Weekend</h2>

<p>Health and wellness for all. One of the goal is to remind people that for a healthy individual, wellness is a responsible relationship between body/mind and ourselves. Hence the importance of a holistic approach that treats the human body as a whole. A global interest initiative that encourages millions of people around the world and in tourist destinations to recharge their batteries with outdoor recreation, sport, wellness and culture.</p>

<p>A weekend in which <strong>Spas</strong>, <strong>wellness and thermal centres</strong>, <strong>gyms</strong> and <strong>beauty salons offer the opportunity to participate in fun</strong>, <strong>original and free activities</strong> by making their facilities and staff available.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-large-font-size">World Wellness Weekend in Italy</h2>

<p>We asked <strong>Régis Boudon-Doris, ambassador for Italy of the World Wellness Weekend and founder and CEO of the bbspa_Group.</strong></p>

Brick Foundation, International Massage Association and about a hundred experts sharing insights and tutorials in English, Spanish, Japanese and French.</li>



<li><strong>1,000 mentions (TV, radio, press, online newspapers) and 8,000 posts on social networks</strong> reached a total audience of 430 million people with an estimated 17 million views (sources: Coverage Book, Brand24, <em>TVeyes</em>).</li>

<p>More and more people are looking for unforgettable experiences when they travel.<strong> </strong>People are no longer simply looking for<strong> </strong>a place to sleep, but a place that offers a dream experience and leaves beautiful memories. Because of this, and because of the style and sophistication that distinguishes them and their respect for the environment, they are very popular with young customers, couples and the international jet-set.</p>

<p>Unique <strong>design</strong>, enriched by exceptional pieces of furniture, refined atmospheres, and high-quality finishes. The presence of high craftsmanship certainly increases its prestige.</p>

<p><strong>The atmosphere must be intimate and comfortable</strong> and able to pamper all the senses: the lights and colours must be well studied, the music as well, the entire spa circuit should be characterised by precise olfactory notes that help characterise the place and remain impressed in the memory.</p>

<p>Services must be <strong>highly customised</strong>, to meet the needs and habits of customers, even anticipating them before they manifest themselves. Signature treatments and high-end cosmetics are a must!</p>

<p>To build a Boutique SPA we have to assume a cost per square metre starting from 4,000€, then according to the spa concept and its Business Plan we define the specific budget for each structure</p>

<p>In fact, this model makes it possible to invest in the creation of spas that can offer wellness experiences wherever there is a market and <strong>regardless of the environmental context</strong>, exploiting, for example, the main travel routes, or urban, suburban, commercial and, why not, industrial areas.</p>

<p>The possibility, for example, of having a place next to one&#8217;s company where employees can relax and relieve stress during their lunch break or immediately after work is a considerable plus that has benefits for the individual and for the company&#8217;s productivity.<br/>Other interesting locations are airports, next to shopping centres, or even near large amusement parks.</p>

<p>&#8220;There are no limits with SPACUBES to the possibility of design and adaptation to the context in which the spa is to be established. That is the strength and the challenge of this project”, <em>adds Régis</em>”.</p>

<p>In each of its sizes, <strong>SPACUBES</strong>® is designed according to strictly <strong>sustainable and environmentally friendly</strong> principles. The choice of materials, construction techniques and technologies used, in fact, makes it possible to minimize consumption, respect the environment and propose an ethical use of wellness and the spa.</p>

<p>Inside a historical palace that once belonged to the Colonna family, considered one of the oldest and most famous Roman patrician families, <strong>Biologique Recherche</strong> opens <strong>Ambassade Roma</strong> <em>where</em> you can enjoy the exclusive experience of this high-end brand, just a few steps from the Pantheon and Piazza di Spagna.</p>

<p>The bbspa team of <em><a href="https://www.bbspagroup.com/en/what-we-do/we-design/">We Design</a></em> redesigned a 250 square metre space, working with Italian craftsmen who remodelled the existing furniture to adapt it to the requirements of Biologique Recherche&#8217;s technologies and protocols, taking the historical materials and embellishing them with Corian and alabaster.</p>

<p>The Roman Embassy is located on Via Frattina, number 7, in the beating heart of the Eternal City. An exclusive project born thanks to the collaboration between Biologique Recherche, a leading company in the cosmetics sector, and <strong>bbspa_Group</strong> (specifically with its branch <strong>bbspa_France</strong>).</p>

<p>A glamorous environment steeped in history, opened last 20 December, which will be inaugurated shortly, dedicated to a clientele of connoisseurs and wellness enthusiasts, both Roman and international.</p>

<p>A chat with <strong>Regis Boudon-Doris</strong> (CEO and Founder of bbspa_Group) immersed us in this intriguing project that combines history, innovation and well-being.</p>

<h2 class="has-large-font-size wp-block-heading">A network of embassies in Italy and around the world. What is the mission?</h2>

<p>&#8220;As part of its development projects, Biologique Recherche is creating its own network of “embassies” around the world to guarantee customers a brand experience. For this reason, the collaboration with bbspa_Group will continue with the opening of 2 more &#8220;Ambassade&#8221; in 2023 and 2024,&#8221; Regis emphasises. &#8220;We are also creating a collaboration that goes beyond Italy thanks to projects that Biologique Recherche would like to realise with its clients worldwide.</p>

<h2 class="has-large-font-size wp-block-heading">What was the most fascinating or curious aspect of this job?</h2>

<p>&#8220;Ambassade Roma is located on the site of a very famous lingerie shop from the 1950s that boasted a VIP clientele, including all the famous actresses linked to Cinecittà as well as famous women from all over the world passing through Rome. Also, for this reason &#8211; adds Regis Boudon-Doris &#8211; we wanted to respect what already existed. <strong>The challenge was to transform a shop into a wellness centre</strong> and this was possible thanks to the collaboration of <strong>architect Joanne De Lepinay</strong>, who adapted &#8216;retro&#8217; environments to the specific needs of Biologique Recherche for 2023&#8243;.</p>

<h2 class="has-large-font-size wp-block-heading">Technology, design and well-being: a perfect mix</h2>

<p>Works started in July 2022. They were planned, organised and realised by bbspa_Group and a team specially structured for such a specific project.</p>

<p>A <strong>250 m2</strong> space (including 50 m2 on the ground floor with reception, shop, waiting room and product testing room) with 6 treatment cabins, 4 for individuals, 2 for couples and a team area.<br/>Skillful Italian craftsmen have remodelled the existing furnishings to adapt them to the needs of Biologique Recherche&#8217;s technologies and protocols. How? By taking historical materials and embellishing them with Corian and alabaster.</p>

<p>In addition to Joanne De Lepinay, bbspa_Group specialists worked on the project: <strong>Federico Dottorini</strong> (Project Manager), <strong>Hande Yildiz</strong> (Interior Designer) and <strong>Andrea Francia</strong> for project procurement.</p>

<h2 class="has-large-font-size wp-block-heading">Refined and intimate wellness centre with innovative treatments</h2>

<p>An intimate, cozy and muffled atmosphere as well as the organization of the spaces, specially designed to experience each treatment to the fullest. The design and furnishings are in blue, white and champagne (the signature colours of Biologique Recherche) enhanced by the mahogany and copper of the historical structure.<br/>The ambience is permeated with touches of refinement combined with the lively personality of the Roman Dolce Vita. Distributed on the first floor, single and double treatment cabins welcome guests for a rejuvenating moment. There is also a lounge for personalised consultations.</p>

<h2 class="has-large-font-size wp-block-heading">A bien-être experience signed by Biologique Recherche</h2>

<p>L’équipe dell’Ambassade Roma è formata secondo protocolli e tecnologie The Ambassade Roma team is trained according to Biologique Recherche protocols and technologies and is at the service of those who wish to enjoy an effective and different <strong>beauty experience</strong>. The first step is an in-depth assessment of the skin&#8217;s condition. The results of this analysis determine the customised treatment protocol to be applied, which will then be spelled out in the various face/body treatments.</p>

<h2 class="has-large-font-size wp-block-heading">What has been bbspa_Group&#8217;s trump card?</h2>

<p>Biologique Recherche was founded at the end of the 1970s by Yvan and Josette Allouche, a biologist and physiotherapist respectively and experts in cosmetic treatments with an artisanal flavour. Their savoir-faire and visionary approach to the world of cosmetics are behind the brand&#8217;s success for the effectiveness of its exclusive products.<br/>Indeed, the founders have conceived an exclusive methodology of personalised cosmetic treatments adapted to each &#8216;Skin Instant<sup>©</sup>&#8216;, based on products with a high concentration of active ingredients.</p>

<h2 class="has-large-font-size wp-block-heading">Regis, who would you like to thank for the success of the project? </h2>

<p>All professionals who have worked very intensely and in very short times. Especially:</p>
